One injured in Mercer County crash

REYNOLDS -- A man was transported to the hospital Saturday for injuries sustained in a car crash in Reynolds.

Mercer County Sheriff's Deputies said the crash occurred on 180th Ave East. Driver Dalton B. Tate, age 21 of Reynolds was taken to Trinity West in Rock Island for his injuries, while passenger Robert Walker, age 20 also of Reynolds was not injured in the accident.

Mr. Tate was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to wear a seatbelt by a driver.

No report on his condition was available.

The Rock Island County Sheriff's Department, Reynold's Fire Department, and Andalusia Ambulance Service assisted the Mercer County Sheriff's Department in the matter.
