Chinese high school students Dwight Ma, left, and Chongming Wang inspect their net for any aquatic macro-invertebrates from the stream on the campus of Black Hawk College Thursday July 17. Black Hawk College hosted 12 Chinese high school age students from seven provinces of China as part of the Rivers as Bridges 2014 program. The Chinese students are in the Midwest for a two-week visit, touring and learning about the Mississippi River region in Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin.
