Elaine Idell Rose Hughes, 90, of Bettendorf, died June 29, 2014, at her home.
Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at McGinnis-Chambers, Bettendorf. Burial is at Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation is 12:30 to 2 p.m. Thursday with an Eastern Star service at 1:45 p.m.
She was born Oct. 16, 1923, in New London, Iowa. She married Wendell I. Hughes on Dec. 6, 1947.
She is survived by her husband; children, Donald, Eldridge, Ronald, Williamston, Mo., and Cinda Beert, Blue Grass; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
