Franch Jackson Jr., 74, of Florissant, Mo., a 41-year resident of the Quad-Cities, died Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Mercy Skilled Nursing Center, Creve Coeur, Mo.
He was born in Copiah County, Miss., one of 10 children, in 1939, to the late Franch and Bessie Hamilton Jackson. He married Mary Grove Jackson on Aug. 17, 1968, in Brownsville, Tenn.
He retired from John Deere Harvester, East Moline, in 2003.
Surviving are his wife; nephew, Franch Jackson III; siblings, Johnnie P. Evans, Jackson, Miss., Cora L. Conway, Jackson, Tommie Jackson, Crystal Springs, Miss.; and a host of very special nieces, niece-in-law, and nephews, and dear friends all over the U.S.
