Carr, Himmelman earn IBCA All-State honors

Rock Island senior guard C.J. Carr and Geneseo junior forward Drew Himmelman earned Class 3A/4A All-State honors from the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association.

The duo were named All-State honorable mention by The Associated Press last week.

Carr secured third-team honors from the IBCA. The SIU Edwardsville signee averaged 14.2 points, 4.5 assists and 2.8 rebounds for the Rocks this season.

Himmelman was named to the fourth team after averaging 19.6 points and 11.2 rebounds.
