Ruth J. Carstens, 89, of Davenport, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday at Runge, Davenport. Burial is at Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation is 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Runge.
She was born June 22, 1924, in Buffalo Township, Iowa, to Arthur and Ellen Braun Andrews. She married Frederick J. Carstens in 1940. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are her sister, Lorraine Dawson; daughter, Janice Hubbard, West Liberty, Iowa; son, Gerry (Patty) Carstens, Calamus, Iowa; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
