The Rev. Warren Glenn "Butch" Nichols, 66, of Alto, Ga., died May 4, 2013.
Services are 2 p.m. today at Friendly Mission Baptist Church, Cornelia, Ga. Burial is at the church cemetery. Arrangements are by McGahee-Griffin & Stewart, Cornelia.
He was born Aug. 20, 1946, in Hannibal, Mo., to Virgil and Gertrude Nichols.
He was employed at International Harvester Farmall, Rock Island, until its closing, retiring from Navistar in 1998.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley; children, Caprice (Clark) Whitmire, Alto, Ga., Stacy (Melissa), Winamac, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; sister, Eleanor Blackaby-Ferns, Moline; brothers, Raymond, Missouri, Russell, California.
