York-Burrus Engagement

Announcement is made of the engagement of Amanda Marie York and Daniel Joseph Burrus, both of Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich. She is the daughter of Lori and Robert Theuninck, Moline, and Barry York, Dubuque, Iowa. He is the son of Dr. William and Deborah Burrus, Moline.
The couple will be married on June 22, 2013, in Davenport.
Amanda is employed at the U.S. House of Representatives.
Daniel is employed by the Department of Defense.
Dan proposed to Amanda during a surprise trip to the 2012 National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C.
