Announcement is made of the engagement of Marlayna Millizer and Matt Robinson, both of East Moline. She is the daughter of Mike and DeAun Millizer, East Moline. He is the son of Tim and Dawn Robinson, Moline.
The couple will be married Sept. 28, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline. The reception will follow at The University Club.
The couple graduated from United Township High School together in 2006. Matt is employed by Michel's Pipeline Construction, Oklahoma. Marlayna received a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from Western Illinois University, Macomb. She is employed by Bush Construction as a project engineer.

1989 -- 25 years ago: Officials predict Monday's Rock Island Labor Parade will be the biggest and best ever. Last minute work continues on floats and costumes for the parade, which steps off a 9:30 a.m.
