Suellen A. Kernan, 72, of Princeton, Iowa, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Genesis East, Davenport.
A time of remembrance is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at McGinnis-Chambers, Bettendorf.
Sue was born in Chicago, to Irv and Lucille French. She married Don Seitz in June of 1960. In 1972, she married Mike Kernan.
Surviving are Mike Kernan; children, Chuck Seitz, Princeton, Tami Seitz, Davenport, Kevin, Princeton, Sean, Davenport, Amy, Davenport; grandchildren, Stephanie Seitz, Chris Seitz, Megan Parkin, Alexa Parkin, Maisey Kernan.

1989 -- 25 years ago: Officials predict Monday's Rock Island Labor Parade will be the biggest and best ever. Last minute work continues on floats and costumes for the parade, which steps off a 9:30 a.m.
