He married Alta Ewoldt Jan. 12, 1946. Surviving are his wife, Pleasant Valley; daughters, Mary Feldpausch, DeWitt, Iowa, Joann Bullock, Bettendorf; sons, Harold, West Burlington, Iowa, Roy, Donahue; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Edward, Davenport.
