Trivia Night for Camp Kesem Feb. 9

A Trivia Night for Camp Kesem will be held Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Viking Club, 1450 41st St., Moline. A silent auction will start at 6 p.m. with trivia at 7 p.m.
There also will be a 50/50 drawing and cash bar. Cost is $10 per person for teams of eight.
Camp Kesem is a national network of free camps for children with a parent who has (or has had) cancer. Call (563) 271-2540 for information.

1964 — 50 years ago: Members of the Davenport police department and their families are being invited to the department's family picnic to be held Aug. 27 at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds.
1989 — 25 years ago: Beginning this fall, Black Hawk College will offer a continuing education course in horseback riding at the Wright Way Equestrian Center, Moline, located just east of the Deere Administration Center.
