Edeline Schmidt, Davenport, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013. Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Risen Christ Lutheran, Davenport with an hour of visitation prior tothe service. Visitation also is 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Runge. Burial is in Davenport Memorial Park. She was born Feb. 8, 1923, in Iowa, to Harry and Sophia Kruse. She married Clarence Schmidt in 1948. in DeWitt. He died in 2002. Survivors are sons,, Paul and Ned; and grandchildren, Jeff, Andrea and Aaron. She was preceded in death by her brother, Harold; and her daughter, Dorothy.
