Aladar "Al" Szeker, 73, of Davenport, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at his home.
Services are 3 p.m. Sunday at Cunnick-Collins, Davenport, with visitation 1 to 3 p.m. Private burial is at a later date.
He was born Aug. 5, 1939, in Jibou, Romania, to Peter and Julianna Major Szeker. He married Anna Sinn Sept. 29, 1962, in Romania.
Surviving are his wife; daughter, Julia Szeker-Newberry, Chatham, Ill.; sister, Kathelene "Katie" Tulcan, and brother, Karol Szeker, both of Romania; and grandchildren, Taylor and Evan.
