Press release submitted by Bettendorf Library. The Bettendorf Public Library is pleased to announce the availability of Zinio digital magazines for all Bettendorf cardholders. You can checkout and download magazines to take with you. No waiting lists, no due dates. You'll access Zinio through the Bettendorf Public Library's web site at www.bettendorflibrary.com, using a Bettendorf library card. You get the full content of the magazine, along with added features you can't find in print, such as video, audio and live links. 1988 -- 25 years ago: Hampton's sesquicentennial committee and the Hampton HistoricalSociety have scheduled a full slate of activities, which will be held throughout the year, to celebrate the village's 150th birthday. The first celebration will be the Memorial Dayprogram at 10 a.m. May 30, at the Brettun and Black Store Museum on River Road. Therewill be a sesquicentennial display.
