Marilyn Hubbard, Coal Valley, will be honored at an open house today in observance of her 90th birthday.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend from noon to 3 p.m. at the IBEW 145 Union Hall, 1700 52nd Ave., Moline. No gifts, please.
The former Marilyn Kidd was born Jan. 15, 1923, in Moline. She married Donald B. Hubbard on June 21, 1946, at First Lutheran Church, Rock Island. He died Oct. 24, 1998.
Her children are Kim Hubbard, Moline; Lisa and Daniel Wolever, Geneseo; and Jay Hubbard and Debbie Prather, Coal Valley. Her daughter-in-law is Leslie Hubbard, Moline. A son, Terry, is deceased. There are six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hubbard was employed as a secretary for the Moline School District, retiring in January 1988. She is a member of First Lutheran Church, Rock Island.
