Roy H. Velde, 83, of Nevada State Veterans Home, Boulder City, formerly of Morrison, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at the home.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian, Morrison. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Friday at Bosma-Renkes, Morrison. Burial is at Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.
He was born Aug. 29, 1929, to Roy M. and Bertha Velde. He married Marian Johnson on Oct. 18, 1952. She died July 14, 1983.
Surviving are children, Bev Todd and Ralph Velde; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Eileen Nelson.
