Roy Velde
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian, Morrison. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Friday at Bosma-Renkes, Morrison. Burial is at Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison. He was born Aug. 29, 1929, to Roy M. and Bertha Velde. He married Marian Johnson on Oct. 18, 1952. She died July 14, 1983. Surviving are children, Bev Todd and Ralph Velde; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Eileen Nelson.

1988 -- 25 years ago: Hampton's sesquicentennial committee and the Hampton HistoricalSociety have scheduled a full slate of activities, which will be held throughout the year, to celebrate the village's 150th birthday. The first celebration will be the Memorial Dayprogram at 10 a.m. May 30, at the Brettun and Black Store Museum on River Road. Therewill be a sesquicentennial display.
