Lois M. Nelson, 93, of Prophets Riverview Good Samaritan Center, Prophetstown, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at the center.
There will be no visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private graveside services are Thursday at Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison. Arrangements are by Bosma-Gibson Funeral Home, Prophetstown.
She was born May 22, 1919, in Sterling, to Launce and Beulah Bealer Shepard. She married Harold E. "Eddie" Nelson Jan. 2, 1944, in Lyndon. He died Nov. 22, 1997.
Lois was employed by Production Credit Association, Morrison, for 41 years, retiring in 1983.
Survivors include her friend, Mike (Beth) Olinger, Prophetstown.
