Trinity educates on Temporomandibular Joint Disorder
Press release submitted by Trinity Bettendorf Trinity Bettendorf will host "TMJD and Headaches," from 6-7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5. Dr. Jeffrey Bassman, DDS will explain how headaches can be a symptom of Temporomandibular Joint Disorder. According to the online Dental Guide USA, TMJD is the second most commonly occurring musculoskeletal condition resulting in pain and disability (after chronic low back pain), affecting approximately 5 to 12 percent of the population.
