Announcement is made of the engagement of Lisa Marie Hawk and Leonard Henry DeBroeck IV, both of Moline. She is the daughter of Rod and Deanna Hawk, Moline, and the late Melinda Hawk. He is the son of Cindy and Leonard DeBroeck III, Milan.
The couple will be married at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at Lavender Crest Winery, Colona. The reception will follow at 5 p.m. at Lavender Crest Winery.
Lisa graduated from Moline High School in 2002 and Western Illinois University in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in biology. She is employed by MidAmerican Energy, Rock Island.
Leonard graduated from Rock Island High School in 2002 and Western Illinois Quad Cities in 2012 with a bachelor's in general studies. He is employed at Olderog Wholesale Tire, Davenport.

1989 -- 25 years ago: An avenue of lights, 13 Christmas trees strung with more than 44,000 sparkling lights, will expand the Festival of Trees beyond the walls of RiverCenter in downtown Davenport in mid-November.
