DAVENPORT, IA (January 22, 2013) – The registration deadline and team bracket drawing for the 37th annual Snowbird Softball Classic- Co-Ed Tournament is tomorrow, January 23rd. All paid team registrations much by presented at the Dugout Sports Complex by 6:30PM.

A pairing party and rules review will be held beginning at 7:00PM at the Dugout. The Snowbird Softball Classic- Co-Ed Tournament will begin Friday, January 25th through Sunday, January 27th.

The tournament is double elimination, with games starting Friday night and continuing through Sunday afternoon. In addition to softball, the event will also include prize drawings and 50/50 raffles.

Entry forms are available online at www.bbbs-mv.org\events\snowbird or at the Dugout Sports Complex, 3504 Hickory Grove Road, Davenport. Inquiries should be directed to the Dugout Sports Complex- 391-4211.

The Snowbird Softball Classic- Men's Tournament will take place Friday, February 8th through Sunday, February 10. Registration deadline for the Men's tournament is Wednesday, February 6th. Paid registrations must be to the Dugout by 6PM, with the team pairing and rules meeting beginning at 7PM.

Proceeds from the Snowbird Softball Classic will be used to support Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Mississippi Valley, a youth mentoring organization impacting over 1,000 children and families in the surrounding community.

The 37th Annual Snowbird Softball Classic is sponsored by the Dugouts Sports Complex, Accentra Credit Union, Budweiser, Fox 18, Quad City Times, Lawler Family Chiropractic and is a sanctioned USSSA tournament.
