A man killed in a Monday accident on Illinois 150 south of Orion has been identified as Melvin L. Landuyt, 74, of rural Lynn Center.

Henry County coroner David A. Johnson said Mr. Landuyt was pulling his SUV out of a driveway when it was struck by the tractor-trailer.

Mr. Johnson said a female passenger in the SUV was taken to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. The semi driver was taken to a Quad-Cities area hospital. No information on either was available on Wednesday.
