Vera Kadel Birthday
Vera M. Schmidt was born Jan. 13, 1913, in Buffalo Prairie, to George and Kathryn Sullivan Schmidt. She married Herman Kadel on Sept. 9, 1931. He passed away in 1989.They farmed together in Edgington for 57 years. Her children are Mona (Robert) Martin, Davenport; Vonda (Thomas) Brown, Lake Elmo, Minn.; and Robert (Mary Ann) Kadel, Taylor Ridge. Vera has seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
