The family of Vera Kadel wishes to proudly announce the celebration of her 100th birthday.
Vera M. Schmidt was born Jan. 13, 1913, in Buffalo Prairie, to George and Kathryn Sullivan Schmidt. She married Herman Kadel on Sept. 9, 1931. He passed away in 1989.They farmed together in Edgington for 57 years.
Her children are Mona (Robert) Martin, Davenport; Vonda (Thomas) Brown, Lake Elmo, Minn.; and Robert (Mary Ann) Kadel, Taylor Ridge. Vera has seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
