Lucy Vargas, 82, of Davenport, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at her home.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial is at Holy Family Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries, Davenport.
She was born Sept. 13, 1930, to Jose and Sarah Juarez. She married Henry Vargas Aug. 14, 1950.
Surviving are her husband; daughters, Genie Appleby, Rita Vargas, Vivian Ready, Lydia Vargas-Craig; sons, Lupe, Alex, Ben, Edward; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
