Maribel Saguilan, 51, of East Moline, passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Trinity Rock Island.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline, where a funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Maribel was born Sept. 24, 1961, in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico, the daughter of Gumercindo Agustiniano and Crescenciana Saguilan. She married David Padilla in July 2006, in Rock Island.
Maribel had worked as an RN in Mexico before moving to East Moline. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending church.
Survivors include her husband, David; daughter, Adriana Medrano; sisters, Angela, Leticia, Altagracia and Sonia Saguilan; brothers, Miguel, Israel and Ignacio Saguilan.
