Edward A. Schueller, 96, of Davenport, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Genesis West, Davenport.
Services are 11:15 a.m. Friday at Kahl Home, Davenport, with visitation at 10:15 a.m. Burial is at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Dubuque, Iowa. Arrangements are by Halligan-McCabe-DeVries, Davenport.
He married Elizabeth Budde Dec. 31, 1942. She died June 19, 1980. He married Irma Walsh March 24, 1985. She died Aug. 22, 1994.
Surviving are sons, James, Thomas, Steven; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth.

1964 — 50 years ago: Work is scheduled to begin this summer on construction of a new men's residence complex and an addition to the dining facilities at Westerlin Hall at Augustana College.
1989 — 25 years ago: Special Olympics competitors were triple winners at Rock Island High School Saturday. The participants vanquished the rain that fell during the competition, and some won their events; but most important, they triumphed over their own disabilities.
