Marguerite Frits

Marguerite Frits, 85, Owatonna, Minn., died Oct. 12, 2012, at Owatonna Minnesota Mayo Clinic. The burial will be a private ceremony for family Monday at Port Byron Oak Grove Cemetery. She was born in Port Byron, to Marguerita and Clarence Lamb. She married Bryce Frits Jr., Port Byron, at Port Byron Congregational Church on Christmas Day 1945. He died Feb. 24, 1985. The family lived in Hinsdale, Ill. In recent years, her son and grandson even pulled for Illinois at "the Tug". Survivors are sons, Jimmy, Terry, Johnny and Tommy that live in Illinois, Minnesota and two of them in Arizona respectively. She has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
