Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cunnick-Collins, Davenport. Visitation is 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Burial is at Davenport Memorial Park. She was born Jan. 19, 1921. She married Gerald H. Francis on March 22, 1941. He died in 1997. Surviving are daughter, Carol Pajunen, Bettendorf; sons, Carl, Moline, Carmi, Davenport; three sisters; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.

1988 -- 25 years ago: Hampton's sesquicentennial committee and the Hampton HistoricalSociety have scheduled a full slate of activities, which will be held throughout the year, to celebrate the village's 150th birthday. The first celebration will be the Memorial Dayprogram at 10 a.m. May 30, at the Brettun and Black Store Museum on River Road. Therewill be a sesquicentennial display.
