Howard B. Searle, 84, of Aledo, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Genesis West, Davenport.
Private entombment will be in the Chapel of Eternity, Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Speer Funeral Home, Aledo, is assisting the family.
Howard was born Jan. 10, 1928, in Geneseo, to Byron B. and Ida Pobanz Searle. He married L. Barbara Gibbs Dec. 11, 1945. She died June 3, 2002.
He was a bus mechanic for many years.
Surviving are his daughters, Sally Koczan, Maplewood, Mo., Nancy (Kenneth) Surdez, Lyndon; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, John Searle; and son-in-law, Jerry Koczan.
