Kathryn Bush, 91, of Fulton, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, in Clinton, Iowa. A service is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bosma-Renkes, Fulton, with visitation at 9 a.m. Memorials may be made to First Reformed Church Missionary Fund. She was born April 10, 1921, in Fulton, to Albert and Effie (Decker) Huizenga. She married George J. Bush on Jan. 16, 1941, in Clinton, Iowa. She was a homemaker. Survivors include son, Jerry (Valerie), Fulton; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Marjorie June Huizenga. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Jane Carol; brother, Benjamin Huizenga; and sister, Alice Voss.

1988 -- 25 years ago: Hampton's sesquicentennial committee and the Hampton HistoricalSociety have scheduled a full slate of activities, which will be held throughout the year, to celebrate the village's 150th birthday. The first celebration will be the Memorial Dayprogram at 10 a.m. May 30, at the Brettun and Black Store Museum on River Road. Therewill be a sesquicentennial display.
