Doris M. Ducey, 97, of Davenport, died on Nov. 12, 2012, at Genesis West, Davenport.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Weerts, Davenport. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial is at Durant Cemetery.
She was born in 1914 in Tekamah, Neb., to Charles and Nellie Darnell. She married Donald DeMond and later married Donald Ducey.
Survivors include, her daughter, Sharon Roesger, Durant; son, Michael (Gloria), Davenport; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

1964 -- 50 years ago: Publication of a plant newspaper, the Farmall Works News, has been launched at the Rock Island IHC factory and replaces a managerial newsletter.
1989 -- 25 years ago: Officials predict Monday's Rock Island Labor Parade will be the biggest and best ever. Last minute work continues on floats and costumes for the parade, which steps off a 9:30 a.m.
