Mary Jane Begyn, Amber Ridge, 900 43rd Ave.,Moline, will celebrate her 85th birthday with afamily gathering.
Mary Jane Wittevrongel was born Oct. 21, 1927,in Kewanee. She married Francis R. Begyn on July24, 1948, in Rock Island. He died July 21, 1993.
Her children and spouses are Larry and SueBegyn, Laurie (deceased) and Steve Hauman andLynne and Kim Newton. Mrs. Begyn has eightgrandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was employed at Royal Neighbors and later asa secretary for the Black Hawk Lung Association.
She is a member of Sacred Heart Parish, RockIsland.
