I-74 crash sends 3 to hospital

A four-vehicle accident about 1:30 p.m. in the westbound lane snarled traffic on the Interstate 74 bridge on Monday July 9, 2012. According to the police scanner, three people were transported from the scene to a local hospital. No further details are currently available. Moline police are handling the accident scene. Both westbound lanes of traffic were open as of 1:50 p.m.
