Robert Morris, 88, of Moline, formerly of Galesburg, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Heartland

Health Care Center, Moline.

As he wished, cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services. Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Orion, is assisting with arrangements.

Robert was born March 18, 1924, in Harvey, Ill., son of Lester and Bertha Pratt Morris. He married Eleanora Gibb on March 17, 1945. She preceded him in death on Aug. 18, 2008.

Robert worked for 25 years as an office manager for Brown Specialty Co. He later retired from Galesburg Auto Parts.

Survivors include son-in-law, Alan Saunders, Orion; grandson, Chad (Sunday) Saunders, Coal Valley; great-grandson, Aiden; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Linda Saunders; and son, Jeffrey Morris.
