CAMBRIDGE — Naomi Johnson, of Alpha, on Thursday entered a negotiated guilty plea to one count of Class 3 felony aggravated battery/victim over 60. A second count of the same was dismissed.|
Ms. Johnson, 40, was ordered to serve 30 months probation and fined $500 plus court costs. She also was sentenced to 180 days in jail with credit for time served and the balance stayed pending compliance.
Ms. Johnson also will have to pay $1,196.15 in restititution and was ordered to have no contact with the victim or the victim's residence.
According to the charge filed May 21 in Henry County Circuit Court, Ms. Johnson allegedly shoved another woman to the ground on May 20, causing the woman to hit her arm, causing a laceration, swelling and bruising.
