Tracey L. (Cooney) Irving, 47, of LeClaire, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 26, 2012, at her home following heart complications.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Tracey will be 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main St., downtown Davenport. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Keeping with Tracey's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded following the service. Tracey Lynn Cooney was born on Sept. 12, 1964, in Davenport, a daughter of James and Judith (Moore) Cooney Sr. She was a 1983 graduate of DeWitt High School. She was united in marriage to Dennis Irving on Oct. 28, 1989, at the Old St. Ann's Church, Long Grove.
Tracey had worked at Alcoa and the former Grafco and, most recently, was a homemaker. She cherished the time she spent hanging out with her family and friends. Tracey also enjoyed games on her computer and phone, shooting pool, throwing darts and rooting for the Chicago Bears.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Tracey is survived by her husband, Dennis, LeClaire; children, Alyssa, Davenport, and Nicholas, LeClaire; mother, Judy Cooney, Moline; father, Jim Cooney Sr., Geneseo; brothers: Jim (Deb) Cooney Jr., Silvis, Chad Cooney, East Moline, and Todd (Kristen) Cooney, LeClaire; grandmother, Helen Cooney, Panorama Park, Iowa; mother-in-law, LaVonne Irving, Bettendorf; brother-in-law, David (Beth) Irving, Grand Mound, Iowa; nieces and nephews, Dayton, Vanessa, James, Gabby, Cooney, and Brett and Jessica Irving; and an extended loving family.
