A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for eastern Henry County until 8 p.m.

At 7:14 p.m., National Weather Service Doppler radar continued to indicate a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds around 60 mph. The storms were located approximately along a line extending from Milan to Marston, or along a line extending from

Rock Island to 9 miles north of Aledo, moving southeast at 35 mph.

Locations in the warning include but are not limited to Moline, the Quad City International Airport, Coyne Center, Coal Valley, Reynolds, East Moline, Sherrard, Orion, Ophiem and New Windsor.

This includes Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 9 and 14; I-74 in Illinois between mile markers 2 and 3; and I-280 between mile markers 10 and 18.
