If you would like to show your appreciation for a Quad City veteran or would just like to learn to quilt, please consider participating in the Quilts of Valor Under Our Wings project hosted by the Mississippi Valley Quilters Guild Saturday, May 26.

Men and women who have never quilted before will be paired with quilt instructors to make a quilt for a Quad City veteran. Sewing machines, fabric and lunch will be provided. It is free to participate, but volunteers must be present from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 26.
