Aledo Rehabilitation and Health Care Center will celebrate National Nursing Home week Sunday, May 13 through Saturday, May 19. This year's theme is "Celebrating the Journey".

Join us as we honor the milestones in our lives, celebrate a variety of events, and share the journey with our community and those we love.

All events are open to the public.

Sunday, May 13 -- 2 p.m., Mother's Day Tea, 2 p.m.

Monday, May 14 -- 2 p.m. Western Day. Dress in western wear and enjoy black cows, sundaes and a Nursing Home Week proclamation.

Tuesday, May 15 -- 2 p.m., Blue and White Day. We will be celebrating our rehabilitation patients with a presentation from our Pathways Rehab-to-Home department. Cake and drinks will be provided.

Wednesday, May 16 -- 2 p.m., Red, White and Blue Day. We will read journey remembrances and find out the stories from the residents and family members. Dessert will be provided.

Thursday, May 17 --6-8 p.m., 50's Day. A Car Show in the facility parking lot presented by Knuckle Busters Car Club. Food and drinks will be available for a donation.

Friday, May 18 -- Orange and Black Day. Butterfly balloon launch at 10; community bingo at 2 p.m.

Saturday, May 19 -- 2 p.m. Tie Dye Day. Movie "Journey to the Center of the Earth" and popcorn.
