D. Mark Hesseltine, 46, of Moline, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.
A visitation only will be held at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline today from 3 until 6 p.m. Per his request, cremation rites then will be accorded.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, 640 N. LaSalle Drive, Suite 280, Chicago, IL 60654.
Daniel Mark Hesseltine was born in Davenport on May 21, 1965, to Donald Hesseltine Sr. and Sally (Bishop) Boley. He graduated from the Davenport schools and was employed as a roofer. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and of NASCAR.
In addition to his parents, survivors include a sister, Wendi (Michael) Fahrenkrug, and a brother, Don Hesseltine Jr., all of Davenport; a niece and three nephews, including one very special nephew, M.J.
