Letter: Expanding John Deere Road a dangerous waste of money

Well the politicians are at it again, wasting taxpayers' money.

They want to spend $45 million to widen John Deere road from four lanes to six. It is not needed.

John Deere is like a racetrack with all those vehicle's driving over the speed limit and running red lights because they cannot stop in time. If they go to six lanes, there will be more wrecks and that means more people will die and be injured.

But the politicians do not care about that; they just want to spend money they do not have and then they will raise taxes on the taxpayer and the taxpayer cannot afford it.

If they do that, the politicians should be made to pay all the funeral, medical and body shop expenses.
