Four men were arrested in East Moline today in connection with an armed robbery at Title Cash of Illinois, 3146 Avenue of the Cities, Moline.

Moline Police Capt. Trevor Fisk said the robbery was reported about 11:30 a.m. and the suspects were traced to a house at 1316 18th Ave., East Moline.

When East Moline police arrived, two suspects fled the house but were caught nearby "hiding in a porch," and two others remained inside and were arrested, Capt. Fisk said.

A witness gave police the license plate number of a car seen leaving the scene of the robbery, and the plate number was linked to the East Moline address, according to police.

Capt. Fisk said the identities of the suspects would be released later. No information was available on what the alleged robbers took from Title Cash of Illinois.

The robbery provoked a large police operation, with several patrol cars, unmarked police vehicles and an Illinois State Police crime scene investigator on the scene in East Moline.
