Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Third Missionary Baptist, Davenport. Visitation is 9 a.m. to services at the church. Burial is at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Wheelan-Pressly, Rock Island, is assisting the family. She was born March 10, 1987, in Rock Island, to Eldora Battie and Robert McGowan. Survivors are daughters, DaRyla Shears and Kimmiah Battie, at home; mother, Moline; father, Davenport; three sisters and four brothers.

Illinois Department of Transportation crews drove onto it to makeborings for the relocation of the junction of Illinois 84 and the Port Byron-Hillsdale road.
