Memorial service for Mr. Baugh will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Glenn was born on Sept. 10, 1928, in Melrose, Iowa, son of John Baugh and Mary (Collins) Baugh. He married Eloise Henley on Dec. 4, 1948, in Montgomery, Ala. Glenn worked as a truck driver for the Carsten Freight Co., Rock Island, retiring in 1990. Later, he worked for Eagle Food stores. Glenn was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 371, Rock Island, and a member of the Moline American Legion Post 246. Glenn was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a World War II U.S. Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise; children, Glenn (Vicki) Baugh Jr., Rock Island, Teresa (Dan) Janecke, Peoria, Timothy (Janice) Baugh, Matherville, and Nilia (Dan) Elder, Rock Island; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
