Mike File will celebrate his 70th birthday with an open house on Saturday, April 28, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hollar's Bar and Grill, 4050 27th St., Moline.
Friends and family are invited to share in the celebration. Cards are appreciated, but please, no gifts.
Mike was born April 15, 1942, to Kenneth "Ken" and Elizabeth "Betty" Dailey File in Moline.
He is the owner of Barn Ridge Kennels, where he and his wife, Jo, raise Labrador retrievers and German shorthaired pointers. They also train and board dogs.
Mike has a son, Matt (Lynn) File, Colona; stepdaughters, Pat Rees, Rock Island; and Cris Arduser, Moline. There are nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
