Michael and Kathleen Holt, Woodhull, will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary with a surprise party given by their children.

Kathleen McDonald, Arlington Heights, Ill., and Mr. Holt, Oneida, Ill., were married June 14, 1980, at St. James Catholic Church, Arlington Heights.

Their children are Brian Holt, Bettendorf; Thomas Holt, Chicago; Kaitlin Holt, Peoria, Ill.; and Kelly Holt, Cambridge, Mass.

Mr. Holt is owner and operator of the the family farm, Holt Inc. Mrs. Holt is a teacher's aide at AlWood Elementary School.

They are members of St. John's Catholic Church, Woodhull.

1987 -- 25 years ago: A one-day seminar, "Aging Together as a Family," will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1330 13th St., Moline. Topics will include community resources, the aging process and coping.
