i wireless sponsors Toys for Tots in Quad-Cities, partners with U.S. Marine Corps

DAVENPORT -- i wireless is partnering with Toys for Tots in the Quad Cities this holiday season and will provide drop off locations at corporate retail stores for new, unwrapped toys. Customers also have the opportunity to donate one dollar when they make a purchase at select stores between Nov. 2 and Dec. 6. Monetary donations will be used to purchase additional toys for the program and will be presented to Toys for Tots during a special event on Thursday, Dec. 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the i wireless Pheasant Creek store, located at 3012 East 53rd St., Davenport. This event will feature "B100" live on location and QC Mallards hockey players to sign autographs. "i wireless is proud to support Toys for Tots again this year." said Gary Baron, i wireless Vice-President of Marketing. "It is a wonderful program and a great way to support children and families at a local level," The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
