Many myths, lies and deceptions are put out there every day locally about the GOP. First off, I understand the anger towards George W. Busht. But, the hard figures came out rcently in the Wall Street Journal. From 2001-2008 the average annual increase in appropriations bills came in at 6.4percent or two times inflation. The Democratic Congress is spending at six times the current rate of Inflation. Yes, six times. How can our children and our country sustain this? The articles depict the massive tax increases planned to pay for this through 2019. Obama's nine-month budget surpassed what George Bush spent in eight years. We have our beliefs and our party associations, but what about our countries future? Phil Hare not only supports this, he has one of the largest appropriations requests in all of the House. Look on his website. We need change and people who support being fiscally conservative. If you do not have the money for it, you cannot not buy it or spend it. Our country is in serious jeopardy, please know each vote for these same politicians is dragging the state of Illinois and our country down at a rapid pace.

The other issue I need to mention is global warming. Recent polls now have 57 percent of Americans who understand that it is a myth. Al Gore is being sued for fraud by 30,000 scientists. The polar ice caps are growing not shrinking and this is well documented. The polar bear population is increasing at a good rate, again, well documented. The worldwide temperatures have decreased 13 years in a row. Does anyone recall this past summer? I encourage people to get on the Internet and learn the truth. The British High Court also ruled recently that nine major facts out of Gore's movie are false and they banned the movie from being shown in any public school throughout England.

If you keep voting for the same people like Phil Hare, Mike Jacobs, Pat Verschoore and Mike Boland, you will get the same result. A bankrupt state with an unemployment rate of near 12 percent. Hold these people accountable. Educate yourselves and do what is best for our country and our children. Stop the spending!
