Press release submitted by Davenport Library Teen Craft Program Event Date: 7/14/2009 Recycled CD Art Inspires Teens Don"t throw that scratched up CD away! Bring it to Davenport Public Library"s Fairmount Street location (3000 N. Fairmount Street) on Tuesday, July 14, at 3:00 p.m., so you can make recycled CD art. Join us as we smash old scratched-up music CDs and turn them into cool things, like mosaics and funky picture frames. What a great way to be creative and recycle your old music! Teens are invited to weekly "Express This" workshops as part of Davenport Public Library"s Teen Summer Reading Program, "Express Yourself @ Your Library." Each Tuesday, through August 4, at 3:00 p.m., teens can participate in fun, free, and creative activities certain to kick-start the imagination.
