Recycled CD Art Inspires Teens
Don"t throw that scratched up CD away! Bring it to Davenport Public Library"s Fairmount Street location (3000 N. Fairmount Street) on Tuesday, July 14, at 3:00 p.m., so you can make recycled CD art. Join us as we smash old scratched-up music CDs and turn them into cool things, like mosaics and funky picture frames. What a great way to be creative and recycle your old music!
Teens are invited to weekly "Express This" workshops as part of Davenport Public Library"s Teen Summer Reading Program, "Express Yourself @ Your Library." Each Tuesday, through August 4, at 3:00 p.m., teens can participate in fun, free, and creative activities certain to kick-start the imagination.
All workshops are open to teens across the Quad Cities. For more information, check out the Teen Blog at http://blogs.davenportlibrary.com/teens.
