Green Career Fair at Illinois

Press release submitted by University of Illinois The University of Illinois is hosting its first Green Career Fair. The Green Career Fair will have two components – a campus-based fair to be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 and a virtual fair to be held from February 26 – March 9, 2009. Organizations can choose to participate in both the on-campus and the virtual fair or to register only for the virtual fair. Registration for the campus-based fair includes registration for the virtual fair. With increased emphasis on sustainability, alternative energy, the environment, and all things Green, many Illinois students and soon-to-be graduates are seeking opportunities that will utilize their talent and passion to impact the earth. The Green Career Fair will attract a diverse group of candidates in a variety of levels and fields, encompassing degrees across disciplines, including, but not limited to, Environmental Sciences, Ecology, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Horticulture, and Landscape Architecture. The Green Career Fair is your opportunity to meet hundreds of bright students that are passionate about making an impact within your organization. Registration for this event is currently open. The deadline to register for the campus-based Green Career Fair is February 6, 2009.
